Think of your purity this way. Your purity—mentally, emotionally, and physically—are soimportant to save for that right person. No, that really right person. I know most teenagers my age that are in a current relationship or are single and think that when they find someone that they’re automatically the one if they’ve been together for like a month. Reality check, you’re so wrong. Don’t compromise your values. Don’t say, “Well, we’re going to get married anyways in the future,” or, “I can see us together long term so we might as well.” That’s not you talking. That’s your hormones talking. Don’t let them control you. Just think when you get married, you’ll be able to give them the ultimate gift—you. You’ll be able to say I haven’t experienced this with anyone else but you because you’re the guy/girl I’m truly in love with. Imagine how special they’ll feel. Being in a world that pushes sex in your face twenty-four seven is hard but you have to look at the bigger picture and the end result.
Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. -Romans 12:2.
Don’t be a copy of this world! Instead be the original that God intended for you to be. As for relationships, as Christians, we shouldn’t test drive. When i say test drive, I mean dating for fun. We should just date just to date or to have someone around for a few months, or even that. We should date someone who pushes us towards God and is running after Christ. You should date someone who wants God as the center of your relationship. Most importantly, you should date for courtship and wait until God reveals that person to you. Don’t date anyone unless you can seriously, and I mean seriously, see yourself with them in the long run or even possibly marrying. I mean, that’s why people date anyways and that’s usually the positive end result. Your purity is so valuable. Think of it this way. I have a present for my friend and it’s nicely wrapped. After she takes off a layer of wrapping paper, I take the present back and give it to someone else and continue. Do you get the point? It loses it’s value and importance the more it’s passed around.
The perfect guy will come along. I promise. I mean, unless God is calling you to be single… But that’s a different story. I hope I at least helped someone to see purity and relationships in a different light. I encourage you all to pray for your future spouse, your purity and girls, soak yourself in Proverbs 31:10-31 and don’t give up hope and faith. <3God bless!

“And the Lord commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as we are this day.”
Deuteronomy 6:24
And I want to draw your attention to the phrase “for our good always”. God doesn’t need us to pray to him. God doesn’t need you to do this or that. He doesn’t need you to worship Him, or glorify him. But he wants you, and He wants you to draw near to Him.
Why?
“For our good always.” From the love He has for us that is irrational. He built this crazy system for us, all for our good always. He only wants it for us just because He knows it’s in our best interest.
Statutes are just laws or rules.
So when you pray prayers that you feel are empty and are struggling to transfer things from head to heart, it’s okay.
He still honors your obedience, and He patiently waits the time when it does transfer to your heart again, knowing that it’s for your good always. And He’s loving you unconditionally in the meantime.
Even if you prayed things you meant all the time, He wouldn’t love you more, Grace. And when you decide to engage in conversations that you think are gossip, He doesn’t love you any less either. His love for you is based ZERO on your merit
or lack thereof. God wants whatever He can get from you, because when you love someone, why wouldn’t you want to get as much as possible? Even sloppy seconds?
But He also knows that when we give Him our best love, it’s for our good always, and of course it brings Him great joy.
But again, it doesn’t make Him love you more—You are lovely in the eyes of Jesus.
Don’t just remember God, try to remember the gospel message as much as possible.

God is our stability!
When you’re battling your battles, remember who is in charge.
God is in charge.
God is a jealous God. But it doesn’t mean He is self centered or authoritarian but it means that He is the only one that deserves all glory, beyond all fame and honour. Why? Because the world and our lives is not about us, and if it would, He knew that we alone cannot handle it. I love the way the Pop artist Kelly Clarkson illustrates it after the burn in the spotlight:
“Sometimes I think this job will be the death of us all, or at least the emotional death of us all.
Maybe that is why as a little kid in Sunday school I learned that God didn’t wan’t false gods or idols. I thought it was terribly selfish of God as a child but I think I get it now. He didn’t wan’t us following people or things that are imperfect and not so much for the followers but for the gods and/or idols who will never be what everyone wishes or needs them to be because we are made imperfect.
He knew we wouldn’t be able to handle the pressure, the shame, the glory, or the power the spotlight brings.”See? The world is not about us, but about Him. Only his! So take off your eyes upon yourself. Life is not about pleasing ourselves, nor pleasing others, but pleasing Him, and that is what only matters.
